All 20 living hostages in Gaza now handed over, IDF says

All 20 living hostages in Gaza have now been handed over, the Israeli military confirms.

The hostages were kidnapped by Hamas in southern Israel during the 7 October attacks in 2023. They include twin brothers Ziv and Gali Berman, who were pictured together in Gaza on Monday morning, BBC reports.

In exchange for the hostages, Israel will release 250 Palestinian prisoners and more than 1,700 detainees
