At least 12 dead as crane collapses onto train in Thailand

At least 12 people have been killed and dozens injured after a construction crane fell on top of a moving train carriage.

The accident took place on Wednesday morning in Nakhon Ratchasima province, north of the capital Bangkok, say reports.

The death toll is expected to rise as rescuers are still removing bodies from the wrecked train car.

According to the train's seating plan, there were 195 passengers and staff members on board.
